The Black Farmer gets behind Get Walking Day

Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, The Black Farmer, is offering his support to Get Walking Day an initiative by the Ramblers Association.

“Walking is a hugely pleasurable, social and healthy pursuit – as well as being very therapeutic in this high-speed world in which we live.  I want to encourage everyone to get involved in the day.  It’s a brilliant way to see the countryside and appreciate your local surroundings at your own pace with good company,” says Wilfred who will be seeing off a 4 mile walk from Westbury Gardens, Bradford on Avon around South Bradford.

To make sure as many people as possible take part all the walks are short, between 2 and 5 miles, over easy terrain.  Each walk is being led by friendly experienced Walks Leaders, who will be waiting at the meeting point.  Nothing could be easier.
